DOLPHIN
BAY FILMS has several film and TV projects
in various phases of development, and as
screenplays are acquired or as projects are
moved up into production status, the
announcements will be posted on this page.
April 21, 2008:
We are accepting horror shorts for
consideration for production later this
year. They should be from 15-25 pages in
length and feature supernatural elements
rather than slasher. This may lead to a
writing assignment for a feature. Contact

April 18, 2008:
Dolphin Bay Films will shoot the short
script "HOW TO KILL A MAN" in late May or
early June. This short film is for the
purpose of testing equipment and key crew
members for a feature film to be shot later
this year in Tulsa, OK. Please contact us
for casting notices or to inquire as to crew
positions. We will be attending the 4TH
ANNUAL TEXAS PRODUCTION ROUNDUP in
Richardson, TX, on May 13th and will welcome
meetings at this event. We are still seeking
a second short script for production later

February 14, 2008:
Dolphin Bay Films plans to
shoot two short films within the next few
months and seeks thriller and horror
screenplay submissions from 10 to 30 pages.
Query us with your synopsis before sending
scripts.
February 11,
2008:
Dolphin Bay Films will
be co-producing the feature film BARKING
WATER, written and to be directed by Sterlin
Harjo, with principal photography to
commence March 10, 2008:
BARKING WATER is a poignant tale of finding
the simple joys of life in the shadow of
death. Frankie is an older Native American
beyond care with cancer in an Indian
hospital. Irene, a dear friend from his
past, shows up with a plan: to kidnap him
from the hospital, and to take him on a road
trip to say goodbye to the special people in
his life. Along the way, they experience
danger, laughs, and special memories. Irene
desperately wants to make Frankie's final
wish come true, but will she be able to
before he passes away? As Frankie grows
weaker, it's a race against time to bring
peace to a dying friend.
January 21, 2008:
A tentative agreement has been reached to
co-produce a feature film to be shot in
Oklahoma in April, 2008. Details regarding
the project will be made public upon final
approval between all parties.
January 7, 2008:
Dolphin Bay Films has been requested to
develop low budget educational/entertainment
projects for elementary school aged children
for a company with a national retail market
base. Running length should be in the 30
minute range. E-mail us with a brief
synopsis of your project.
December 18, 2007:
Dolphin Bay Films has undertaken the
development of a one-hour dramatic TV pilot.
With this expansion to television
production, we will be seeking other
30-minute and one-hour pilots for
development consideration on a relatively
low budget. Interested parties should submit
a query e-pitch with synopsis, writer bio,
creative elements attached, to what extent a
season jacket has been developed, and
anything else you consider helpful.
