BARKING WATER is a poignant tale of finding the simple joys of life in the shadow of death. Frankie is an older Native American beyond care with cancer in an Indian hospital. Irene, a dear friend from his past, shows up with a plan: to kidnap him from the hospital, and to take him on a road trip to say goodbye to the special people in his life. Along the way, they experience danger, laughs, and special memories. Irene desperately wants to make Frankie's final wish come true, but will she be able to before he passes away? As Frankie grows weaker, it's a race against time to bring peace to a dying friend.
